1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

Johnson Services, owner: Clarence Johnson

George-Washington-Straße 219, 68309 Mannheim, Germany

Phone: +49 151 57731682

Data protection contact: hallo@gastklar.info

We are not legally required to appoint a data protection officer and have not done so.

2. Summary

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking tools, no advertising pixels and no embedded third-party content (for example no maps, videos or social media plugins). Fonts and images are served from our own server.

We only process personal data when you visit the website (technically necessary server log files) and when you contact us via the enquiry form, by email or by phone.

3. Hosting and server log files

The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit the website, technically necessary data is processed: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, referrer URL, browser type and operating system.

The purpose is to deliver the website securely and reliably and to prevent misuse. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure operation of the website. Log data is stored only briefly and then deleted.

We have a data processing agreement with Vercel under Art. 28 GDPR. Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 45 and 46 GDPR).

The connection to the website is encrypted via TLS (shown by “https://” in the address bar).

4. Enquiry form

When you request a quote via the form, we process your details: location or postcode of the property, number and size of properties, the services you need and your contact details (name or company, email address). Details on beds, bathrooms, cleanings per month, address, dates, notes and phone number are optional.

The purpose is to handle your enquiry and prepare a no-obligation quote. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps at your request). The required fields are needed to prepare a suitable quote; without them we cannot process the enquiry.

To protect against automated mass submissions, we briefly process your IP address in the server's memory to limit the number of requests. It is not stored permanently. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Your enquiry is not stored in a database on the website; it is sent by email to our mailbox. You also receive an automatic confirmation at the email address you provided.

5. Email delivery and mailbox

To send the enquiry and the confirmation we use the service Resend (resend.com). Emails are sent via servers in the EU (Ireland). As the provider is based in the USA, access from the USA cannot be ruled out; transfers are based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR). We have a data processing agreement with the provider.

Our mailbox is operated by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. A data processing agreement is in place here as well.

6. Contact by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries).

7. Retention

Enquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted no later than six months after our last contact. If an order is placed, we keep the data for the duration of our cooperation and beyond only where statutory retention obligations apply (for example six or ten years under German commercial and tax law).

8. Our Instagram and Facebook profiles

We operate a Facebook page and an Instagram profile. The provider is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland. No Meta content is embedded on this website; data is only transferred when you visit our profiles on the platforms themselves.

We are jointly responsible with Meta for page statistics (“Insights”) (Art. 26 GDPR). The agreement is the Page Insights Controller Addendum: https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms/page_controller_addendum. Meta assumes primary responsibility; you can also exercise your rights directly with Meta.

The legal basis for our presence is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in informing about our services). More information: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy and https://privacycenter.instagram.com/policy.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You can withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)).

Right to object: where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).

An informal message to hallo@gastklar.info is enough for any request.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg, Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany, https://www.baden-wuerttemberg.datenschutz.de.

10. No automated decisions

We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
